Tracy is passionate about working with children and adults who are committed to growth. She engages individuals and families through a therapeutic process that builds upon existing strengths and letting go of ineffective behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated in 2013 with a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Health Psychology and a second masters degree in Organizational Development and Leadership in 2015, both from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Before working at the Well-Being Center, Tracy gained experience across multiple levels of care including residential treatment for children with Autism and related disorders, Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services, and integrated primary care. She believes that these prior experiences influenced her strong holistic approach that connects the mind, body, and spirit in to therapeutic interventions. Tracy believes in building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship to help children, adults, and families build skills and developed greater insight into challenging moods, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, and significant life events.
Tracy is a certified yoga instructor and brings a holistic approach to her work.
She incorporates art, yoga, and mindfulness into her sessions. Her theoretical orientation in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is the foundation for incorporating her additional trainings in psychoeducation, trauma focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Applied Behavior Analysis, and Solution Focused therapeutic interventions that are individualized to meet the needs and therapeutic goals of each client.
