Christine is passionate about self-growth, overcoming obstacles, and utilizing the mind and body connection in working with her clients. She is a licensed professional counselor. She graduated with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Addictions from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has worked as a domestic violence hotline counselor educating individuals of their rights, empowering individuals to advocate for their needs, and assisting in creating a crisis plan. Christine has also been a co-occurring therapist at an inpatient rehabilitation center for several years. She has worked with a team of counselors, case managers, nurses, and psychiatrists to develop healthy recovery approaches. She has aided individuals in addressing addiction issues, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma work, developing social skills, and psychosis.
Christine has an individualistic style of therapy allowing each person to bring their own life experiences, needs, and personality to each session. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) primarily while also incorporating psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Christine is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT) who enjoys incorporating mindfulness, meditation, and yoga postures into the session. Christine encourages the individual to explore their creativity, build healthy coping skills, and increase self-awareness. Christine primarily works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, life transitions, and communication barriers.
